It’s 2022!
“Personal growth lies within the unknown; courage permits you to explore this space.” - Unknown
Welcome to 2022!
Where are you emotionally and mentally today?
As with anything in life, it’s possible that your feelings about the new year may differ from others that you hear or see being shared.
Maybe you feel excited and motivated. You’re looking for ways to get the new year started on a positive and productive note.
Maybe you feel confused or frustrated. Maybe this new year doesn’t feel so special to you.
Maybe you feel very nervous or scared. As we enter 2022 we are still in a pandemic; we are still are navigating our new normal; we are seeing increased effects of global warming; the economic and political landscapes don’t appear very stable, either. Ultimately, we are unsure about what’s to come.
Maybe you have been struggling with your mental health and bringing in a new year is the last thing on your mind. You may have suffered a major loss or change of some kind in 2020 or 2021 and are just looking to get through another day.
Whatever you may be feeling, acknowledge and validate those emotions.
The best place to start is by asking yourself, "what do I need right now?"
As Always, Be Well!
