Cooling Off from the Summer

“Change is the only constant in life.” -Unknown

Have you noticed that the sun has started to set sooner, and that the days are starting to get shorter? The temperatures are no longer reaching the heights that they were just a month ago.

You may be someone that considers the end of summer as Labor Day Weekend, or even the last day of August; however, fall does not technically start until September 22nd (this year).

This transition will mean different things for different people (as with everything in this life).

Are you excited for cooler weather, boots, and pumpkin spice lattes?

Are you dreading the cold, dark period that is to come?

Are you neutral?- the changing seasons don’t mean much to you.

Wherever you fall (no pun intended), it is always helpful to check in with yourself whenever you are about to be faced with a change; even the ones that happen every year, like changing seasons. This kind of mindfulness is a great way to take inventory of your mental health and emotional needs.

Below are some journaling prompts for you to do an end-of-summer reflection:

I hope that you will take some time to check-in with yourself. If you do so using these prompts, I’d love to hear about it!

As Always, Be Well!
